Why the Model Works

Modern automated retail — built for margin.

A high-margin consumable, a crowd-magnet experience, and 24/7 automation. That's the NextGen owner thesis.

High-margin consumable

Each item retails A$35–A$55 with a gross margin around 60–70%. Blank stock and ink ship to you in bulk — no per-transaction licensing.

Automated 24/7

No employees at the machine. Revenue runs nights, weekends, and holidays without a single shift change.

Scalable rollout

Start with one machine, grow into a multi-unit regional operator. Fleet software, reporting, and priority support scale with you.

Who It's For

Not All Machines Are Equal

NextGen vs generic imported machines.

Most phone case machines on the market are white-labelled Asian imports with forced foreign branding and WeChat-based support. That's not us.

Premium AU brand

NextGen: Premium brand operated locally, built for Australian retail trust.
Others: Generic or forced foreign branding you can’t change.

Australian-based support

NextGen: Phone, email, Slack and local field-service techs — all based in Australia.
Others: Overseas WeChat QR codes as the main support channel.

Australian payment rails

NextGen: PCI-compliant payments processed locally, AUD settlement, PayID / NPP / EFT direct to your ANZ / CBA / NAB / Westpac account.
Others: Non-AU gateways, FX friction, slow payouts.

Scale playbook

NextGen: Multi-unit growth plan, cohort rollout, territory protection.
Others: One-off machine sales. You're on your own after shipping.

Venue placement

NextGen: Australian-based placement team with live venue relationships across Sydney, Brisbane and Melbourne.
Others: “Please find your own location and good luck.”

Insurance & warranty

NextGen: General liability coverage, 12-month hardware warranty, extended support available.
Others: Patchwork warranty with parts shipped from overseas.

Owner FAQ

What operators ask us most.

How much stock does each machine hold?
The phone case machine holds up to 595 cases across 85 cargo lanes — typically 7–14 days of inventory between restocks. The t-shirt machine holds ~80 premium tees across mixed sizes plus a full DTG ink supply — typically 4–7 days between restocks depending on venue throughput.
How long does installation take?
Typical on-site install is 4–6 hours including unboxing, positioning, loading inventory, adding ink, and completing print calibration. Most machines are selling to customers the same day.
What does daily operation look like?
Minimal. Check revenue on the fleet dashboard, keep the display clean, restock cases every 1–2 weeks. Software updates happen overnight automatically. No technical experience required.
How are payments settled?
Card transactions process through PCI-compliant payment hardware, settle in AUD and deposit directly to your linked Australian bank account on a daily cycle. PayID / NPP supported for same-day settlement on participating banks.
Can I customise the machine branding?
The default finish is the premium NextGen brand, which unlocks national marketing support and faster venue placement. Co-branded skins are available for Enterprise package operators.
Is finance available?
Yes — Australian commercial equipment finance via Pepper Money, Liberty Financial, Selfco Leasing, Grenke, Prospa, Moula and broker partners Finlease, Stratton and Vending Finance. Typical chattel-mortgage terms 24–60 months on approved credit. Full lender directory with phone numbers at /finance/.
What support do I get?
Unlimited access to Australian phone, email and live-chat support. Remote diagnostics, over-the-air software updates, and local field-service techs for any on-site issue. No WeChat QR codes.
What if the machine goes offline?
Our monitoring detects outages in real time and alerts our ops team automatically — most issues resolve remotely the same day. On-site service visits are scheduled within 24–48 hours for hardware issues.
