Privacy Policy

1. Who we are

NextGen Vending Co is a trading name of Austech Online (ABN [ABN — set in Settings → General]) (“we”, “us”, “our”). We operate this website and the NextGen retail machine network across Australia. Contact: sales@nextgenvendco.com.au. Registered address: Sydney, NSW, Australia.

We handle personal information in accordance with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs).

2. Information we collect

  • Order & account data: name, business name, ABN (optional), email, phone, billing and delivery addresses, order details.
  • Payment data: EFT remittance details. We do not store full card numbers on our systems.
  • Support data: tickets, messages, machine identifiers.
  • Website usage: standard log data (IP address, browser, pages visited) and cookies.
  • Machine-customer images / designs: photos uploaded at a machine are processed only to print the item, are never linked to your account, and are deleted automatically after the print job completes.

3. How we use it

To fulfil your orders, deliver machines, provide support, issue tax invoices, reconcile EFT payments, comply with our taxation and recordkeeping obligations under Australian law, and improve our products. We never sell your personal information.

4. Disclosure

We share personal information only with: (a) our Australian bank (ANZ) for EFT reconciliation; (b) our delivery and field-service partners; (c) our Australian-based cloud infrastructure providers under written data-processing arrangements; (d) any Australian commercial equipment-finance provider you choose to apply with from our directory at /finance/ (Pepper Money, Liberty Financial, Selfco Leasing, Grenke, Prospa, Moula, Finlease, Stratton Finance, Vending Finance and similar) — only where you initiate the application; and (e) regulators, the courts, or law enforcement where required by Australian law.

5. Overseas disclosure

Some of our cloud infrastructure (web hosting, email delivery, support systems) is hosted in Australia and other countries with comparable privacy regimes. Where personal information is sent overseas we take reasonable steps to ensure the recipient handles it consistently with the APPs.

6. Direct marketing

If you sign up for our newsletter or accept marketing communications during checkout, we may send you product news, owner-pack updates and event invitations. You can opt out at any time using the unsubscribe link in any email, or by emailing sales@nextgenvendco.com.au.

7. Your rights under the APPs

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal information we hold about you. Email sales@nextgenvendco.com.au with the subject line “Privacy request” — we will respond within 30 days. If you are unhappy with our response, you may make a complaint to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.

8. Data retention

Order, tax-invoice and accounting records: 7 years (ATO requirement). Support tickets: 3 years. Marketing list: until you unsubscribe. Machine upload images: deleted immediately after print.

9. Security

Encryption in transit (TLS 1.2+), PCI-compliant card-processing infrastructure, access controls and audit logging. Staff access to customer data is limited to those who need it to do their jobs.
